No difference really . Both are getting more mentally
unbalance each generation due to first cousin marriages..
The two people are pretty tall and martial people. Are the
two
cultures similar? i know that in punjab, they do bangra,
but in
afghanistan/NWFP they don't.
are the features same for both? I've met a pathan and a
punjabi (paki
punjabi) and had lunch with both of them. the pathan
claimed, after i
asked him what city he was from in pakistan, that he was
from kashmir
(sic!). he meant to say NWFP, in my opinion. he was quite
tall and
well-0built and quite rowdy, but somewhat nice and warm.
his skin was
as fair as that of a typical north indian, just a little
more red. the
punjabi was only like 5'9", very fair, and very polite. he
was part
farsi he told me. he wasn't that well built, which is the
exception,
from what i understand.
what are the differences between the pathans and the
punjabs?

Pathans are tougher, harder working people, they are also taller, with broader bones, they are usually light skinned, but even if a Punjabi has light skin, he will not have blood on his face like a Pathan. Pathans and Punjabis both eat meat, but in Pathan regions it is considered a staple unlike Punjabis. Pathans usually cook dumba meat with fat, and salt, whereas Punjabis prefer to cook their dishes with lots of spices, and ghee. Pathans also eat beef (cow meat), which is considered tough in Punjab. All the dry cows go to NWFP so that Pathans can eat them. Pathans will work hard, no matter what condition they are in, Punjabis are a bit soft when it comes to this.unbalance each generation due to first cousin marriages..
